TWC Charity Support -

In 2020 TWC has chosen to support Youth Suicide Prevention and Awareness, and we will be raising money during the year with various community activities. Watch our Facebook and Instagram page for updates, and support those in our community who need it the most.

Vanessa Warren is a leading Health, Activity & Wellness Specialist based in Christchurch, New Zealand. She has almost 30 years experience as a Personal Trainer & was a finalist at the 2018 and 2019 NZ Exercise Industry Awards in the Small Group Trainer category. Vanessa was a presenter at the NZ FitEx Conference in 2019. She specialises in Special Population groups, particularly Women's Health (PCOS & Endometriosis); Bariatric Exercise & Wellness; Exercise at Any Size; Diabetes & Metabolic Disease; and Exercise as Medicine

Coming from 170 kilograms a few years ago, I have successfully lost 50 kilograms to this point, and I’m still continuing this journey. I started walking and trying to eat healthier while doing my diploma at CPIT during which I lost roughly 20 kilos over the period of a year and a half. After I left school and started walking, walking the distances I was previously managing to fit in weren’t really an option anymore. So after considering joining a gym for several months and talking to a close friend at the time, I decided to join Anytime Fitness Shirley and met Vanessa Warren. In the last 18 months I have successfully lost even more weight and I have drastically changed my life from being inactive to being pro-active, a change that I needed badly.
