TWC Wellness Coaching
Wellness Coaching uses theory from Coaching Psychology, Behaviour Change and Positive Psychology, to help clients overcome resistance to change. We use a step by step, structured approach setting achievable and realistic goals to help clients in working out what they want, why they want it, what’s stopped them from achieving what they want and then together we put together an action plan. We support our clients by empowering them to take responsibility for their own outcomes by focusing on facilitation instead of providing a prescription. This increases confidence in any success the client achieves with continued support from the Wellness Coach.

What happens in a wellness coaching session?
We work together to create your Wellness Vision – a Wellness Vision incorporates issues such as - what does ‘wellness’ look like to you? Is it a physical thing? Or a mental change you want to achieve?
We help you create overall daily wellness as we work toward creating your wellness vision. We will work with you while you plan weekly and monthly goals that you would like to achieve. We will also discuss why prior attempts to change behaviours haven’t worked. What have the road blocks been?
- Outcomes – what you want?
- Motivators – why you want it?
- Obstacles – what could get in the way?
- Strategies – what could you do to overcome any obstacles or get what you want?
- Strengths – what strengths you could bring to the process
We use The Cycle of Change Model to help you understand about change and why previous attempts have made you feel a failure and unable to maintain the changes and behaviours you have wanted to.
